One day while working as a pet groomer, a rambunctious Great Dane decided that he did not want to take a bath and decided to hand my butt to me. As I attempted to give chase to the four-legged giant, my leading leg gave away to the soapy cemented floor. For the first time in my life I performed a split that would have made a cheerleader proud. After going to the hospital, the doctor ordered me to bed rest due to hyper extension of both my legs. I was laid up for two months! Out of shear boredom, I leaned over from my bed and picked up my tool box. Because I couldn't move, I need to just do something to keep my mind occupied. The tool box contained various washers, hex nuts, wires, string, pliers, etc. After some creative stringing of the tools, my niece said, " Hey Unc! I could rock this as a necklace." Keric's Hardwear was born. Now that I'm all healed up, I have experimented with all kind of tools from Home Depot and Lowe's Hardware stores. We are a growing green company, taking recycled nuts and bolts and turning them into wearable art at great prices.
